Blue Eye Samurai is a 4x Emmy award winning adult historical action Netflix animated TV series.

 

It was such an honor to work side by side with legends in the industry on this production. I was ecstatic to contribute my talents to my favorite animated show. This series was so meaningful to me as an Asian American woman growing up in America, where it's relatable being "other'd" in society, just like how Mizu, the main character, was treated in Edo period Japan as a bi-racial woman. Knowing how much impact representation has in media with shaping our culture, I know this series will inspire many others to feel connected and empowered as it did for me.

 

A lot of hard work, late nights, blood, sweat, and tears was put into the series, so I hope you all enjoy what’s to come in the new season!
